We are in the middle of summer and the Brera Botanical Garden remains open on the usual days and times for tourists and citizens who wish to spend time in nature in this green oasis in the city centre.

It is planned to close only in the week from 9th to 17th August 2025.

Thanks to the identification tags of each species, visitors will be able to recognize well-known plants and learn about other lesser-known ones, while also appreciating the current blooms in a real open-air museum.

Activities for the public and school groups will resume in September with a rich schedule.

Here is a selection of the season’s blooms that you can view during your visit.

Hibiscus moscheutos subsp. moscheutos, or swamp rose-mallow, characterized by enormous pink flowers that can reach 15-20 cm in diameter

Bidens sulphurea is a sort of daisy from Central America used for centuries to dye natural fibers
